Men vote for Bond girl but women choose Hepburn

MEN and women are poles apart when it comes to choosing their top screen sirens.

While women opted for Audrey Hepburn's gamine charm in Breakfast At Tiffany's, a new poll shows men's favourite female movie icon is Ursula Andress, who memorably emerged from the sea in a white bikini during the 1962 Bond film Dr No, which starred Sean Connery.

Hepburn came fifth in the men's poll behind three popular female sci-fi sirens: Sigourney Weaver in The Alien saga was second ahead of Carrie Fisher in Star Wars in third place and Jane Fonda in Barbarella in fourth.

Julia Roberts took fifth place for her memorable role in Pretty Woman.
