Are cargo shorts for kids? Some seem to think so. Only the other week, a British journalist accused golfer Lee Westwood of "bouncing around like a teenager in his white cargo shorts", while in the US actor Dan Savage was recently found guilty of wearing "a youthful outfit of sneakers, cargo shorts, and a faded shirt". Is there something inherently juvenile about shorts with an extra set of pockets? I'd say "no". Some things are too big to fit in regular pockets. Having extra does not make you a child. It makes you someone with both hands free.
