Letter: Concrete city

Concrete city Through my rainy window on the bus yesterday the current wasteland at Festival Square in Edinburgh looked awful, and is pulling down the new Usher Hall development opposite. Surely a grassy garden in the style of St Andrew Square would lift the place to the level it should be on; a space to linger in and enjoy, not to avoid with a shudder.
