Idyllic rainbow spotted over Lochranza Castle
SUNSHINE after the rain. This vivid rainbow provided a spectacular treat in the seaside town of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, falling onto Lochranza castle.
Rain fell all day on Monday after days of sunshine, but the sun broke beneath the clouds at sunset producing this huge rainbow.
The castle, on the north of the island, was used as the model for the castle in The Adventures of Tintin comic The Black Island,
