Tucked away on Dundas Street, James Ritchie & Son, Scotland's oldest clockmakers, is still offering a unique, personalised service.

Their showroom features a high-quality range of beautiful watches and jewellery, featuring designer names such as Claude Bernard, Zenith and Hot Diamonds. They also sell their own range of intricately-designed watches, as well as clocks.

They also offer a thorough watch and clock repair service, fixing everything from wristwatches to grandfather clocks.

The experienced craftsmen are happy to visit people's homes to look at a clock, and even secure them to a wall once they have been repaired to make sure everything runs on time.

The shop is owned and managed by clockmaker Ian Anderson, while his two staff members have several decades of experience between them.Their reputation means they often repair clocks from all over the UK and even the USA.
