FRANKIE Boyle and the Reverend Obadiah Steppenwolfe III have fallen on hard times. Boyle now more closely resembles a Cuban revolutionary than the smooth Glaswegian stand-up merchant we know him to be, and the Reverend’s normally glittering, rhinestone-encrusted appearance has taken a stride closer to that trailer-trash look. And the comedy has suffered.

There is only a smattering of new material here and, though the gags are funny, the format of the show is a shambles. No surprise, then, that when the Reverend asks "do you have faith?" there aren’t many who apply in the affirmative.
