Flybe announces Dundee-Amsterdam flight service
Flybe announced details of a new year-round service between Dundee and Schiphol Airport that will operate six times a week.

Hide AdIt is the third route the airline has announced under the UK Government’s regional air connectivity fund.

Hide AdInglis Lyon, managing director of Dundee Airport operator HIAL, said: “This is a significant milestone for the airport and the city.
“It gives Dundee its first international route as well as access to one of Europe’s biggest and best-connected hub airports.
“With the support of the people of Dundee and Tayside, I believe this route could be transformational for the city and its airport.”
The service will begin on May 23, with one-way fares available from £19.99 for a limited time.
Holyrood transport minister Derek Mackay said: “This is really exciting news for Dundee and I congratulate everyone involved with bringing this new high-profile service to the city.
“The link to Amsterdam will bring huge benefits to Scottish businesses by improving access to global markets.
“It will also give inbound travellers even more options when it comes to getting a taste of the fantastic tourist experience on offer in Scotland.”
