pinK Floyd guitarist David Gilmour’s son is appealing a 16 month jail sentence for a student fees protest rampage.

Cambridge student Charlie Gilmour, 21, admitted violent disorder in London last year. He was seen hanging from a flag on the Cenotaph and leaping on a Jaguar car, part of a royal convoy, which he hit with a bin.
