Who's appearing on the Celebrity Bake Off Stand Up To Cancer 2020 special, and when it's on Channel 4

The great thing about The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer - apart from the fact it’s for a good cause - is that it is hilarious, utterly unpredictable and impossible to fake.

Unlike the original show, the criteria for being on it have nothing to do with baking skills.

There is no lowest bar to entry which leads to the glorious sight of four of the worst ever tiramisu biscuits lined up on a gingham tablecloth like a crime scene.

Here are the famous faces who will be stepping into the iconic Bake Off tent in 2020:

Richard Dreyfuss

The Oscar-winning actor - who has starred in films like Jaws, American Graffitti and Close Encounters of the Third Kind - rolls up his sleeves to take on the Bake Off gauntlet. He's gonna need a bigger rolling pin.

Louis Theroux

The documentarian with the cultiest of cult followings is arguably this series' most exciting entrant, and fans will be clamouring to see the bespectacled filmmaker swap tackling the dark side of the sex trade for a nice Battenberg.

Johanna Konta

The British tennis number one will be wanting to 'serve' up an 'ace' in the kitchen with her bakes, which hopefully, everybody will 'love'.

Carol Vorderman

Vorderman's penchant for maths and numbers from her Countdown days should serve the presenter well when it comes to working out those all important ingredient measurements. She can convert ounces to grams in a heartbeat.

Tan France

Netflix's Queer Eye reboot loans out one of the Fab Five to Bake Off, but will Tan's bakes be as tasteful as his hair and wardrobe?

James Blunt

Singer-songwriter James Blunt has penned some of the dreariest acoustic ballads of the last two decades, but if he brings his self-deprecating Twitter persona to the Bake Off tent, he could be the sleeper hit of this series.

When can I watch it?

At the time of writing, Channel 4 haven't confirmed when the latest series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer will air, beyond saying it will be broadcast in "early spring".
