Noel Gallagher turns down Strictly Come Dancing chance

Noel Gallagher has turned down an invitation to slide away across the dancefloor on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The former Oasis star – who is touring this summer with his new band High Flying Birds – was approached by show bosses, but reluctantly turned it down because he was busy.

In the past, controversial artist Tracey Emin and TV presenter Richard Madeley have been among those rumoured to be offered a chance to appear on the show.
