New Outlander season two trailer released

Ahead of the second series of Outlander, which premiers in less than a month, Amazon Prime has released a new teaser trailer, focusing on Claire.

The second season of Outlander continues where we last left the Frasers - on a boat to France to try and stop the Jacobite rebellion by persuading Bonnie Prince Charlie that they will fail.

This is the plot line of Diana Gabaldon’s second book in the Outlander series, Dragonfly in Amber.

In it, we see Claire, played by Caitriona Balfe, in both the 1700s and the 1900s, distraught over the knowledge that clan life will come to an end if Jamie, portrayed by Sam Heughan, and Claire can’t stop it.

As scenes flick between the French aristocrats of 1745 and jet planes flying overhead, Claire resolves to stop the Battle of Culloden and save those she has come to love.
