What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

I actually just found a Valentino red jumper dress in a charity shop for £20.

What are you addicted to buying?

High-waisted jeans and trousers, loose crop vests or charity shop buys that are basically “projects” – such as fabulous skirt suits in a size 18 that need taking to the tailors. Also, trainers.

Best-ever bargain?

Probably a vintage leopard print swimming costume that I bought in the sale bin of a vintage store for £1 and wear as a top all the time.

Who has great style?

Solange is the dream, Aluna from Aluna George and a Scottish stylist called Soki Mak always looks fab.

Name your favourite high street shop.

I’m mad for & Other Stories, and ASOS.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

Oh gawd, I used to make my friends handkerchief tops out of bandanas for us to wear when drum and bass raving. They were pretty bad. I also made us some shocking matching dresses to see The Spice Girls reunion concert. We were supposed to be a spice rack, I was paprika.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

Right now a big pink bomber jacket – you need something that’s fun and snuggly in these grey days.
