What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

Elizabeth Martin’s Isabelle blouse in black lace with shocking pink trim. It was to wear to the Scottish Fashion Awards in The Corinthia, London, so I was flying the flag for Scottish design.

What are you addicted to buying?

I’m partial to a gorgeous sweater/jumper/cardigan due to always being cold on location shoots.

Best ever bargain?

I discovered a Versace coat for £200 in a designer outlet when the full-length grey military look with a faux fur collar was in. It was too big but I was determined it was going to be mine.

Who has great style?

I’m drawn to classic style with an edge so people like Victoria Beckham, Mary Portas and Holly Willoughby, who always mix timeless with a twist.

Name your favourite high street shop.

At the moment it’s COS.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

I did partake in the Nineties trend of skirt over the trousers combo.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

I have a few Barbara Hulanicki pieces. She was the creator of Biba and anything she designs today maintains that original vibe. They make me feel like I’m wearing a little bit of fashion history.
