Facing up to celebration

CURATOR Julie-Ann Delaney takes a closer look at a piece of artwork forming part of a programme of displays celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.

The second major wave of "What you see is where you're at" opened at the gallery today with eight new displays.

Among the exhibits is a selection of works by former director of the gallery, Douglas Hall. The piece catching Ms Delaney's eye is Forever for Nothing by Alex Dordoy.
