Warm your chilly bits by enjoying a tipple from The Rutland’s new Winter Wonder drinks menu, created by winner of the SLTN Awards Mixologist of the Year 2011 title, Andy Thompson. Choose from The Rutland Deluxe Hot Toddy (£7.95), a combination of Drambuie and zesty orange marmalade with star anise and cinnamon, the Stocking Filler (£5.95), The Rutland’s take on the classic mulled wine, made with Cockburn’s ruby port, Bombay Sapphire gin, fresh orange and cloves or a Rum Hot Chocolate (£4.95), with Santa Teresa Rum Orange and hot chocolate. Bibi’s Baker on Hanover Street has started selling its brownies online. Brownies cost £4 for two (plus £2.50 p&p), and can be ordered online, and delivered by post. They have a shelf life of eight days. www.bibisbakery.co.uk
