If you fancy a change of scene and love to travel, then working for Emirates – who recently announced the launch of direct flights from Edinburgh - may be your dream job.

Anyone interested should head along to Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza tomorrow (12 May) from 8am as the hotel is hosting an open day for the airline, who are looking for cabin crew.

No previous experience is required but applicants need to be 21 years of age at the time of joining, and have an arm reach of 212cm when standing on tiptoes.

The Emirates base, in Dubai, is a holiday-makers haven with year-round sunshine, internationally renowned restaurants and luxury hotels.

New joiners of the airline can expect a tax free income, staff accommodation in Dubai and concession travel benefits for family and friends.

Richard Jewsbury, Divisional Vice President UK for Emirates said: “Our cabin crew are open-minded, helpful, friendly and service-oriented and that’s what we need from candidates in order to deliver Emirates’ award-winning onboard experience to customers.

“This open day is a great opportunity for people to get their career off to a flying start.

“Applicants just need to drop in to the open day with an up-to-date CV in English and a recent photograph. Pre-registration is not required.”
