Edinburgh's first Chinese restaurant

IAN McLaren, from Bramdean Rise, asks: "I was led to believe the ?rst and only Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh in the mid-1940s was at the top of Chambers Street, in a small group of shops where the museum now stands. I was never in it, but as a small boy passed by many times. Do other readers know more about it?"
