It’s approaching the end of the second week of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the reviews have been continuing to pour in.
With the physical programme containing over 3,350 shows across 265 venues (with plenty more added after the print deadline), it can be a daunting task to work out what exactly you are going to see.
At The Scotsman we review hundreds of shows every year, with the best receiving a sought-after four or five star rating.
Several of those still have ticket availability for this weekend (August 15-17) so you can go and see what all the fuss is all about (bad luck if you wanted to see the likes of Cat Cohen, Josie Long, Bebe Cave, Sam Nicoresti or Helen Bauer - they are completely sold out after earning four or five star reviews from our critics).
Here are 17 four star comedy shows our team of critics would recommend you see this weekend - and that still have ticket availability at time of writing.
You can book them all at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe website here.

5. Daisy Doris May: Big Night Out
Drag queen Daisy Doris May's sketch comedy show has been a critical hit of the Fringe, but you can still get tickets for every show between now and August 24 - at Assembly George Square Studios at 9.50pm each night. What we said: "It's not hard to foresee this character comedy showcase, a deliriously fun and absurdly queer evening, burning up venues across the land." | Contributed

6. Kate Owens: Cooking with Kathryn
Taking place at 5.10pm each day at the Underbelly Cowgate until August 24, you can still bag tickets to Kate Owens' character comedy show this weekend. What we said: "Owens is fearless in the lengths she drives herself to in order to get laughs and deserves considerable respect and acclaim for pushing herself so forcefully through the wringer." | Contributed

7. Andrew Doherty: Sad Gay Aids Play
If you can't make Andrew Doherty’s 8.30pm shows this weekend at the Pleasance Dome you're in luck - there's an extra show at midnight on Saturday in the same venue. You can also pick up tickets for the rest of his performances until August 24. What we said: "Doherty’s an energetic and engaging writer and performer with an infectious sense of character mischief, and this show’s a delight." | Contributed

8. Siblings: Dreamweavers
If sketch comedy is your thing then you can still bag tickets for Siblings at the Pleasance Courtyard at 8.20pm this Saturday and Sunday - as well as for the rest of their run until August 24. What we said: "It’s the kind of show in which, for every 50 people wet-faced with laughter, you’ll spot one punter who looks utterly baffled, possibly wishing they weren’t privy to erotic dreams involving one’s own grandparent." | Contributed
