DVD bonanza: Sci-fi, terror and demons - new releases giveaway
THREE fantastic tales and two Doctors are brought together in the Myths And Legends box set. Jon Pertwee stars as the Time-Lord in The Time Monster, while Tom Baker is the scarf wearing alien in Underworld and The Horns of Nimon. In The Time Monster, UNIT is called into monitor the initial trials of a device called TOMTIT (Transmission Of Matter Through Interstitial Time) at the Newton Institute at Wootton. At the heart of TOMTIT is an ancient crystal, which the Master hopes to use to gain control over Kronos - a Chronovore which feeds on time itself. The Doctor and the Master journey back in time to the lost city of Atlantis, where the battle intensifies.
Underworld is set onboard a Minyan space craft on a quest to recover the Minyan race banks from a ship called the P7E. In The Horns Of Nimon Romana is condemned to be sacrificed to the Nimon – an ancient beast. Aided by the faithful K-9, the Doctor goes to the rescue.

TERROR: CLIVE BARKER'S DREAD
The eagerly-awaited new installment in Clive Barker's Books of Blood franchise finds Anthony Diblasi at the helm directing his own screenplay, based on Barker's original short story. Hot new US talent Jackson Rathbone heads the cast in this psychological thriller which centres on three college students who study other people's fears. As the study progresses, one of the students begins to seek salvation from his obsession by exploiting the terrors of his fellow participants.

HORROR: THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL
Set in the 80s and directed by master of horror Ti West, The House of the Devil stars Jocelin Donahue as pretty, cash- strapped college student Samantha. Desperate to find a deposit on a new flat, she accepts a one-off babysitting job for a sinister sounding employer. The money is too good to turn down so Samantha puts her doubts aside and sets off with her boisterous friend Megan. The house turns out to be an eerie and isolated mansion and both girls feel uncomfortable. However when the employer agrees to up Samantha's wage, she is persuaded to stay and Megan promises to return at midnight to collect her. However, things begin to spiral out of control and Samantha finds herself in a fight for her life.
