Scottish pop singer Lena Zavaroni dies.

Born in Rothsay, on the Isle of Bute, she won the public’s heart after appearing on Opportunity Knocks in the 70s when she was only ten-years-old.

She died when she was only 35 after a long battle with anorexia.
