Blue Peter book winner crowned

ALI Sparkes was crowned Blue Peter's book of the year winner yesterday for her tale of two children suspended in time who are brought back to life in the modern world. Frozen In Time tells of two 1950s children who find themselves in 2009.

Ms Sparkes described the prize as the "children's authors' Oscar".
