What's in their kit?
Just two beautiful voices harmonising mellifluously, accompanied by acoustic guitar and occasional piano and auto-harp. So far, they have bewitched with resonant covers of Fleet Foxes' Tiger Mountain Peasant Song and Buffy Sainte-Marie's timeless protest song Universal Soldier on YouTube and proclaimed their love of the works of Conor Oberst, Gram Parsons… and Gary Numan. But their forthcoming debut album The Big Black And The Blue showcases the strength of their original material.
What other folks are saying:
"First Aid Kit are what might happen if you were to take Marnie Stern, Joanna Newsom and Chan Marshall by the hand, walk them back to school and ask them to form a new band in their own image, with clay and crayons at their disposal" – Plan B Magazine
