A modern masterpiece hits Edinburgh

The Gilbert and George painting Existers (1984) is among the new works on show as part of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.

It is a first showing for the recently acquired work by the pair, and forms part of the third wave of the gallery's What You see Is Where You're At exhibition.

The major summer display will also include an extended Artist Rooms collection by Robert Therrien, with the first UK showing of drawings lent especially for presentation.
