RYAN Wilson is out of Glasgow’s RaboDirect PRO 12 final against Leinster on Saturday, 31 May after undergoing surgery on his shoulder.
The 25-year-old back-row international, who has nine Scotland caps, sustained the injury in training and, according to the club’s website, is “expected to be out of action for several months”, which means he will miss the Dublin final.
Glasgow head coach Gregor Townsend said: “We’re all disappointed for Ryan that he’ll miss the final in a couple of weeks.
“Thankfully it’s not the same shoulder he injured last summer, but it’s a setback for him after he’s had another very good season with us.
“We wish him all the best with his rehab.”
