Probe as fire guts home

FIRE investigators were last night examining the remains of a house after a blaze in Ratho.

The house in Craigpark Avenue was reported to be alight around 5.20pm yesterday. Firefighters using breathing apparatus fought the blaze, and crews entered neighbouring buildings to prevent the fire spreading. Building control officers were called as the house was thought to be unsafe. There were no casualties.
