Kelburne have lost 48 goals and scored 47, while Wanderers have shipped 42 and netted 39.
Stuart Neave, Inverleith’s coach, who guided the club to the title two seasons ago, said: “We’re taking this a game at a time, but the simple point is that if we win all our remaining five games we win the league.”
Edinburgh club, Grange, who are third, square-up to sixth-placed Western and also Grove Menzieshill, who currently occupy second spot in the league.
