SCOTLAND are sitting in 52nd spot in the latest FIFA rankings, published today.
Gordon Strachan’s men have maintained their position just outside of the top 50 - behind teams including Congo, Iran and the Cape Verde Islands.
However, the Scots are ahead of the likes of Serbia, Cameroon and Norway.
The other ‘home’ nations are all ranked ahead of Scotland with England in ninth; Wales at 17; Northern Ireland at 30 and the Republic of Ireland at 31.
The top 10 is made up of Belgium, Argentina, Spain, Germany, Chile, Brazil, Portugal, Colombia, England and Austria.
Cuba experienced a drop of 45 places, and are now ranked at 136th while Thailand enjoyed the biggest rise up the table from 133rd to 121st.
