Midfielder Arnaud Djoum has been named Hearts supporters’ Player of the Year at the end of season awards.
The Cameroon-born Belgian arrived in September on a short-term deal before signing an 18-month extension after impressing in the middle of the park. He also picked up the Goal of the Season award for his strike against Hibs in the Scottish Cup.
Brazilian defender Igor Rossi may have been second in the eyes of the fans, though he picked up the players’ Player of the Year honour after a fine debut campaign in which he’s performed consistently at centre half and left back.
Sam Nicholson picked up the Young Player of the Year award, while Dario Zanatta was named top under-20s player. Osman Sow’s last-minute equaliser against Celtic was voted as the top moment of the campaign.
