Hibs reject £375k Rotherham bid for Scott Allan
The Scotsman’s sister paper, the Evening News, has revealed that talks with the Millers are set to continue and another bid is likely before the end of the transfer window.
However, it is understood that both clubs are at odds over their valuations of Allan, who scored the second goal in Hibernian’s 3-0 cup win over Montrose at the weekend.

The Ibrox club have had three bids of £175,000, £225,000 and £280,000 for Allan rejected by Hibs, who remain adamant that the former Dundee United and West Brom midfielder is not for sale.
Hibs are understood to be happy for Allan to leave on a free at the end of the season and insist that, if the player leaves before then, his destination will not be Ibrox.
Rotherham boss Steve Evans told the Evening News: “Any transfer business we do will remain confidential between the clubs.
“From a distance, one wonders why news of clubs bidding and not bidding gets out. We will not do that.
“We will deal directly with Hibernian should we pursue any interest in Scott Allan.”
