HEARTS have opened talks with Dylan McGowan aimed at keeping the Australian at Tynecastle after selling his brother Ryan last week.

Director Sergejus Fedotovas has spoken with McGowan’s agent Lou Sticca and the 21-year-old’s representative insists everything points towards him staying in Edinburgh. Since making his debut as a sub in the 3-0 win at Dundee United in September, the Adelaide-born player has made nine appearances. Sticca said: “I’ve had a discussion with Mr Fedotovas about Dylan so I’m sure they realise the value of Dylan at the club and I’m sure they want to keep him.”
