John Coughlin urges Shire players

EAST Stirlingshire head coach John Coughlin is hoping his side begin to add points to the plaudits they have been receiving this season, starting at home to Montrose tonight.

Shire sit second bottom of the Third Division having lost their last three games and Coughlin is growing tired of being told how much his team have improved without seeing an improvement in their points tally.

“We are playing a good passing style of football and can pass all day which is being praised,” said Coughlin, who welcomes back German midfielder Philip Zufle from a two-game ban. “However what we are not doing is converting that into goals.”

Montrose name the same squad that lost 4-2 to Rangers at the weekend, with only defender Paul Lunan missing due to an ankle injury.
