Changing room chat: Scharner let-off for 'lazy' jibes

WEST Brom are to take no action against defender Paul Scharner over his public comments about the club's dressing-room discipline. Scharner said the Albion players had become "lazy" after the abolition of their own internal fines system.

Acting skipper Chris Brunt has already voiced his "disappointment" regarding Scharner's outburst, but head coach Roberto Di Matteo will not discipline Scharner. "I like players with opinions but you need to choose when to do it publicly and when to do it internally," said Di Matteo.
