Hearts put Frail on Gardening leave

STEVIE Frail has been put on gardening leave by Hearts as the club clears the path for a new manager at Tynecastle.

The caretaker manager was expected to take yesterday's first day of pre-season training at Riccarton but it is said he was called into a summit with sport director Anatoly Korobochka and reportedly told to stay away from the training ground for a number of days, but officially remains caretaker manager the club said.

Hearts are reported to be confident of having a replacement manager by next week, ending seven months of searching.

Fin Johannson in no rush to join Hibs

JONATAN Johannson has told Hibs he is no hurry to quit Swedish club Malmo for Easter Road.

The Finnish player is a target of manager Mixu Paatelainen, who is keen to reunite with his former team-mate.
