RANGERS manager Mark Warburton remains open to signing former Watford and Derby midfielder John Eustace.

The Ibrox club have announced the 35-year-old would start training at Murray Park next week with a view to agreeing a contract.

An article on the club website read: “Mark Warburton is an admirer of John’s leadership qualities and also his professionalism.

“The former Derby County player and the Rangers manager have been talking about a move for some time and have now agreed to work together over a three to four-week period which will allow both sides to make further and proper assessments.
