Canna school closed after its only four pupils leave the island
The school on Canna has been shut after Gordon and Denise Guthrie left the island with their four children over the summer - leaving no pupils on the register.
The island is owned by the National Trust for Scotland (NTS) and it is thought the school would be re-opened if and when another family with children moved to Canna.
NTS is seeking ways to attract new families to the island.
