Logistics firm Czechs in with freight friend

A LOGISTICS company based in the Lothians has set up a partnership with a firm from the Czech Republic.

Bathgate-based Redhead International has signed the exclusive partnership with freight firm AWT Cechofracht.

Redhead said it would provide new and existing customers with an increasingly flexible and reliable service into and out of eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS directly from the company’s Scottish depot.

The new relationship will provide the company’s Bathgate depot and its customers quicker and easier access into key international markets.

Iain Davis, Redhead’s Bathgate manager, said: “We are constantly looking to improve both our services and client support, and having established a significant footprint in Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS, we were keen to work with a partner that would enable us to enhance not only the quality of service, but the frequency and system flexibility our clients already experience.”
