Four Britons dead in New Zealand quake

At least four Britons are believed to have died after last week's earthquake in New Zealand, the Foreign Office has said.

A further two are injured and one remains missing after the 6.3 magnitude quake in Christchurch.

Police in the area have said the death toll is likely to rise above 200.

The total confirmed dead so far is 147, with 50 people unaccounted for, officials have said.

One of the Britons to die in the 6.3 magnitue quake has been named as 25-year-old Gregory Tobin from North Yorkshire.
