Drama at Burgh Halls

THE historic Linlithgow Burgh Halls is set to appear in a top TV drama series.

Scenes were recently filmed for the new series of BBC period legal drama Garrow's Law, which will also feature scenes filmed in Edinburgh.

The popular show, which stars Andrew Buchan and Alun Armstrong, is inspired by genuine 18th century legal cases and the work of pioneering barrister, William Garrow.

The Burgh Halls has undergone a 5.2 million redevelopment.

West Lothian's culture and leisure leader Jim Walker said: "It's an ideal setting."
