Riders fly the flag for Musselburgh

RIDERS make their way across the Esk at the annual Musselburgh Festival Ride Out.

Riders assembled at Balcarres Road and after the presentation of a scroll at Pinkie House by the Honest Lad and Lass to the Headmaster of Loretto School, made their way to meet the rest of the ride at Pinkie Pillars.

The procession later returned to the Town Hall, where the Burgh Flag was returned to Councillor Barry Turner "unsullied and unstained".
