Police dig up garage in hunt for more victims of killer Peter Tobin

A GARAGE once rented by serial killer Peter Tobin has been dug up by police in the search for more possible victims.

Officers ripped through the floor of the garage in Havant, Hampshire, yesterday after a survey with radar equipment revealed "two suspicious shadows".

They were assisted in the five-hour search by specialists from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service. They dug about 3ft deep, but nothing was found.

A force spokeswoman said the search had not been linked to a specific missing person and they did not intend to search any other properties in the county.

She refused to say what prompted yesterday's more detailed search, following the radar scan on 8 October.

Tobin, 64, right, is currently serving three life sentences for the murders of Angelika Kluk, 23, Vicky Hamilton, 15, and Dinah McNicol, 18.
