Surfing pig Zorro rides waves in New Zealand

A PIGLET in New Zealand is making waves - or rather, riding them - as a video has emerged of the two-month-old surfing with his owner.

Zorro the piglet has been surfing with owner Matthew Bell since he was three weeks old, and his owner says he is “a phenomenal swimmer.”

Although Zorro’s hooves prevent him from staying on the board for longer than a few seconds, Mr Bell says he will continue to teach the popular piglet how to surf until he gets too big for the board.

“We’ll keep surfing until he gets to a size where he’s unmanageable and, yes, see what happens after that,” he said.
