Lucky angler lands biggest fish in Britain - twice
A triumphant Brian Humphries admires the Parrot after a 20-minute struggle
A VETERAN angler is celebrating after spending four-years chasing Britain’s biggest fish, then catching it twice.
• Giant 40lb carp hauled in a day after he caught 59lb monster at same location
• Angler keeps mystery location a secret to protect fish

Brian Humphries, 48, had spent four years chasing the legendary ‘Parrot’, a giant mirror carp named by locals due to its distinctive nose, and was finally rewarded on August 12 when an epic 20 minute struggle with the 59lb 14oz beast ended in victory, and a British record for the largest fish.
The keen angler then caught the collosal carp a second time, but just a day later Brian, 48, was amazed to land another whopper, this time a 40lb 8oz common carp at the same lake in Berkshire.
However, in order to prevent a massive influx of ambitious anglers, Brian is keeping the exact location of his catches a secret.
