Messiah play to the crowd

An up-and-coming Capital band is tuning up for a headline gig to launch its debut album later this month.

Five-piece group Messiah has already tasted success after winning Rock Music Crown - a UK-wide battle of the bands competition in London - and is hoping to follow it up with the launch of Synesthesia at Electric Circus.

Heavily influenced by the Manchester music scene, the 11-track album will be available to buy on the night, with selected songs also available on iTunes.

The launch party is being held on Saturday, April 23.
