Man charged over Musselburgh attack

A SECOND man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 28-year-old man in East Lothian.

The 22-year-old was set to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court yesterday.

The victim was injured in an incident in Fishers Wynd, Musselburgh, on February 5.

George Thomson, 27, from Musselburgh, appeared on petition at Haddington Sheriff Court on Wednesday. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
