Aid event for Japan quake

A FUNDRAISING event in aid of the survivors of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami will take place tomorrow.

People who come along to the event at Barclay Church in Bruntsfield can treat themselves to Japanese food and take part in craft workshops.

It has been organised by Eiko Yamashita, who is originally from Fukushima in Japan but now lives in Bruntsfield.

Mrs Yamashita, 37, said money raised from the event will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
