Man facing Peterhead nightclub assault charge

A MAN has been charged in connection with an alleged attack outside a nightclub.

A 47-year-old man suffered head injuries in the incident near Mambo’s in Queen Street, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, in the early hours of Sunday.

He is said to be in a serious condition at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Police Scotland said a 29-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court later.
