Kamasova makes history with win

ZUZANA Kamasova became the first player from the Slovak Republic to win a Ladies' European Tour title as she triumphed by two shots at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco.

A final round of 76 at Golf du Soleil in Agadir proved enough to see off her closest challenger, French amateur Alexandra Bonetti (66). She said: "It really means the world to me because golf is super new in Slovakia."

Kylie Walker closed with a 73 to tie for 15th on 292, with Vikki Laing (74) finishing on 297, one ahead of Lynn Kenny (75).
