DESCRIBED in the brochure as “absurdist” this is just that. Great fun emerges from utter chaos. But that is often the way at New Year.

There are flashes of genius – Larter’s “bagpipe” playing, the extraordinary firework display he treats us to and his picture book “Velvet Underground Go To The Dentist”, first in a series of rock band-based children’s literature. He also does a fair impression of a lonely Andy Parsons. If you like kittens, you might want to avert your eyes from the Exploding Kittens section. Silly, Free Fringey fun.
