Rangers ace at "crossroads"
Ross McCrorie is at a “crossroads” in his career.
That is the view of former Rangers star Alan Hutton, who reckons the Ibrox starlet could look for a permanent move away.
McCrorie has spent this season on loan at Portsmouth.
Hutton told Football Insider: “You want to be settled, you want your family to be settle, he is pretty much at a crossroads. I do believe it is going to be difficult to break into the Rangers team next season, I do believe they will strengthen in a few areas.
“He’s going to have to come back and hit the ground running and show the manager he’s capable of playing week in, week out at a high level."
Leeds tipped to sign Celtic ace
Fraser Forster could be in for an interesting summer,
The on loan Celtic star will return to parent club Southampton where is contract runs until 2022.
The Parkhead side would likely be keen on retaining his services after a fine season.
However, ex-Aberdeen striker reckons Leeds United, who are primed for a Premier League return, should steal a march.
He told Football Insider: “There are deals to be done with very good goalkeepers out there. If that means spending more money in a key area of the field then that promotion money needs to be spent on the spine on the side. The majority of that money needs to go through the spine. I would rather take Fraser Forster than Joe Hart.”
Independent investigation could be thwarted
Rangers' desire for an independent investigation could be stopped due to proxy vote, report the Daily Record.
An EGM is scheduled for 12 May following the Ibrox club's resolution which was backed by Hearts and Stranraer.
But the meeting could not happen if enough club's reject it by proxy vote ahead of the date.
Hearts squad agree to cuts
Every Hearts player has agreed to a wage cut, according to the Daily Record.
However, some Tynecastle stars have relegation clauses in their contracts up to 25 per cent.
They have sought assurances that there will be no more drops if the club do find themselves in the Championship.
Odsonne Edouard fee
Any team wanting to sign Odsonne Edouard will have to pay more than £25million.
Arsenal and Leicester City are both reported to be keen on the Frenchman.
Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol said: "Odsonne Edouard is not necessarily going anywhere. He’s had a great season, scoring 28 times, and he’s only 22 so it’s not surprising other clubs are looking at him closely.
"He’s got two years left on his Celtic contract and he could sign a new deal. The biggest fee that a Scottish club have ever received for a player is the £25m Arsenal paid Celtic for Kieran Tierney last summer.
"Someone would need to offer more than that for Celtic to be tempted to do business and that kind of money is unlikely to be flying round the transfer market during the next window.
"Leicester have been watching him closely and Brendan Rodgers knows all about him from his time managing Celtic."
