Salmond denies neglecting constituency in Commons

ALEX Salmond has rejected claims he is neglecting his Westminster constituency by not attending the Commons. Mr Salmond, who is MP for Banff and Buchan as well as MSP for Gordon, last spoke in the Commons on 28 March, before his election as First Minister.

Today is the 100th day since that appearance, and the Liberal Democrats have claimed Mr Salmond's Commons absence suggests he is neglecting his constituents' interests.
